What we stand for . . .
Safe, Inclusive & Fully Funded Public Schools
Public schools should be safe, inclusive, and equipped to meet the needs of every student. We support full and equitable school funding, inclusive practices, and environments where all children feel supported and protected.
Early Childhood Access & Affordability
Families across Maine are facing a childcare crisis—both in cost and availability. We support expanding access to affordable, high-quality early childhood programs so parents can work and children can build strong foundations.
Behavioral Health System & Crisis Response
Too many Maine families are left without support during moments of crisis. We advocate for a stronger, more responsive behavioral health system that ensures children receive timely, appropriate care when and where they need it.
Access to Education & Disability Services
Every child deserves access to the supports they need to learn and thrive. We advocate for reduced waitlists, equitable access to services, and stronger support systems for students with disabilities across Maine.
Support for Educators & Service Providers
Educators and service providers are the backbone of our communities, yet many are overworked and under-supported. We advocate for better working conditions, competitive pay, and sustainable staffing to ensure kids receive the care and education they deserve.
Youth Mental Health
Children and teens need access to mental health support before they reach a crisis point. We support increased access to school-based services, early intervention, and resources that help families navigate mental health care.
Support for Working Families
Families are balancing work, childcare, and rising costs every day. We support policies that promote economic stability, workplace flexibility, and access to resources that help families succeed.
Affordable & Accessible Healthcare
Families should be able to access the care they need without financial or systemic barriers. We support expanding access to affordable healthcare, including preventative care, pediatric services, and support for children with ongoing medical and developmental needs.
Housing Stability for Families
Stable housing is essential for a child’s well-being and success. We support efforts to expand access to affordable housing and reduce housing instability for families across Maine.
