June in Maine bursts with color, celebration, and community as towns and cities statewide honor LGBTQ+ Pride Month. From vibrant parades in Portland to family-friendly festivals in Biddeford and Ellsworth, there’s a wealth of events that embrace love, inclusivity, and unity. Whether you’re a longtime resident or visiting the Pine Tree State, this guide will help you discover the diverse Pride events happening throughout Maine in June.

  • May 31 – Pride in the Park, Saco – A kid-friendly celebration with a color run, crafts, local vendors, and music.
  • June 1 – Central Maine Pride Festival, Waterville – A welcoming community event with performances and resources for LGBTQ+ families and allies.
  • June 1 – Windham & Raymond Pride, Windham – A family-friendly celebration featuring a maker market, live entertainment, and inclusive activities that uplift and support the LGBTQIA+ community in the Lakes Region. 
  • June 1 – “Fruity Walks”, Ellsworth – A wonderful opportunity for families to connect with the community, enjoy nature, and celebrate Pride in a relaxed and supportive environment.
  • June 1 – Great Falls Pride March & Festival, Lewiston-Auburn – A vibrant, family-friendly celebration beginning with a march from Auburn’s Festival Plaza to Lewiston’s Simard-Payne Park, featuring live music, local vendors, and community activities.
  • June 5–7 – Bar Harbor Pride, Bar HarborA weekend of inclusive events including a Pride Run, Trail Mixer Walk, and a family-friendly festival with live music, drag performances, and local vendors at the Reel Pizza/UCC lot. 
  • June 6–8 – Ogunquit Pride Weekend, Ogunquit – A beachside celebration featuring a flag raising, art walks, and family-friendly gatherings throughout town.
  • June 7 – Hallowell Pride: Don’t Stop Believin’, Hallowell – Hallowell Pride returns with a downtown parade, drag show, and family-friendly festival along the Kennebec River. Expect live music, local vendors, and a strong celebration of love and community in the heart of Maine.
  • June 7 – Pride Night at Hadlock Field, Portland – The Portland Sea Dogs team up with EqualityMaine and OUT Maine for a family-friendly evening of baseball, community celebration, and LGBTQ+ visibility at Hadlock Field. 
  • June 7 – Confetti Bazaar & Tie-Dye Party, Biddeford – Downtown shopping and crafts during the day, including free tie-dye activities and local vendors.
  • June 7 – Yarmouth Pride Picnic, Yarmouth – A sweet and simple LGBTQ+ Pride picnic at Royal River Park, featuring live music, crafts, mocktails, and activities for all ages.
  • June 8 – PrideFest at Knowlton Park, Ellsworth – Live music, yoga, story hour, and drag performances in a laid-back, outdoor family environment.
  • June 13 – Bath Pride Parade & Festival, Bath – Hosted at Waterfront Park, Bath Pride is a youth-led, family-friendly event with live music, drag story hour, local vendors, and yoga—offering a welcoming space for all ages to celebrate together.
  • June 13 – All Ages Drag Party, Blue Hill – Part of Peninsula Pride, this inclusive evening at Founders Hall features a costume contest, DJ Solar Storm, a glitter bar, and a photo booth—welcoming attendees of all ages to celebrate self-expression and community. 
  • June 14 – Pride in the ‘Bunks, Kennebunkport – A community festival on the River Green with crafts, live entertainment, and family-friendly fun in celebration of Pride Month.  
  • June 14 – Brunswick Pride Festival, Brunswick – An afternoon of inclusive performances, activities, and community booths in downtown Brunswick.
  • June 21 – Pride Portland Parade & Festival, Portland – A colorful parade and afternoon festival at Deering Oaks Park that welcomes families of all kinds.
  • June 21 – Peninsula Pride Parade & Festival, Blue Hill – An all-ages celebration featuring free food, live music, crafts, and activities for kids and teens, culminating in a sidewalk march through downtown Blue Hill.
  • June 21-22 – Deer Isle-Stonington Island Pride, Deer Isle – Festivities kick off with a lively celebration at Deer Isle Music Hall & BBQ on Saturday, June 21st and continue on Sunday June 22nd with a community motorcade, live music, food, vendors, games, and a keynote address at the Island Community Center.   
  • June 27–29 – Downeast Pride, Eastport & Lubec – A weekend of family-friendly festivities including art activities, live music, drag performances, and community parades in Eastport and Lubec.
  • June 28 – Gorham Pride, Gorham – A free, family-friendly celebration at the Gorham Gazebo. Enjoy food trucks, live music, face painting, and a drag show in a joyful, inclusive atmosphere.
  • June 28 – Bangor Pride Parade & Festival, Bangor – A vibrant celebration in downtown Bangor featuring a parade, live entertainment, local vendors, and a community festival open to all ages.
  • June 28 – Franklin County Pride, Farmington – A full-day, family-friendly celebration at Meetinghouse Park featuring live performances, vendors, crafts, raffles, and carnival-themed fun for all ages. 

Whether you’re joining a colorful parade, shopping local at a downtown bazaar, or simply taking a walk in the woods, Maine offers plenty of meaningful ways for families to celebrate Pride this June.
