If you’re from New England, you probably love fresh maple syrup as much as I do. And here in Maine, maple syrup is quite the big deal. In 2025, be sure to check out the Maine Maple Sunday sugarhouses for a truly authentic experience.
Every year, the Maine Maple Producers Association brings together maple syrup producers from all across the state to celebrate Maine Maple Sunday. Most sap houses will offer free maple syrup samples and show you a behind-the-scenes look at how their maple is produced. Some farms and sap houses will offer games, activities, treats, tours, music, and so much more!
Maine Maple Sunday is always the fourth Sunday in March although some sap houses offer events for both Saturday and Sunday so you have multiple chances to get in on the fun!
